Environmental Awareness Toolkit


In September 2007, the Envelope Manufacturers Association Foundation (EMAF) developed an Environmental Awareness Toolkit. The toolkit is designed to help educate envelope industry stakeholders about sound environmental management.

It includes information about best practices, the latest technologies, and other resources designed to enhance environmental management throughout the envelope manufacturing process – from the paper and pulp companies that harvest trees to the consumers and businesses that ultimately receive envelopes in the mail.

The CD-ROM includes the most up-to-date information on environmental practices among paper and pulp companies, suppliers such as window film, adhesive and ink companies, envelope manufacturers, and mail users.
